Welcome to recital day!!

Here’s your need to know info for today…A lot of it is repeat information, but worth mentioning again!

• With all of the dancers and audience members that will be on campus, we highly recommend doing a bathroom break with your dancer BEFORE coming to the venue.
• Dancers will be in dressing rooms tonight, with their stage moms! Stage moms have parent’s phone numbers in case you’re needed for any reason 🙂  If you want to double check the phone number the stage mom has, please do that when you drop off.
• Dancers can get dropped off tonight between 5:15-5:45 and tomorrow between 1:15-1:45. If the stage mom is running late, please do not leave your child in the room unattended. Remember, they are volunteers, who are also getting their own dancer(s) ready. Patience, kindness and grace 🙂
• After you drop off your dancer, please walk back around to the front of the building to give us your ticket and find your seat.

COSTUME CHANGES:

• Parents, please remember that YOU are in charge of changing your dancer. Your stage mom is not responsible for changing your dancer.
• If your dancer is in more than one class (ie Ballet/Tap AND Hip Hop Minis), you should also move your dancer to sit with their next class so the stage mom doesn’t have to search the room for their dancers when it’s time to line up.
• If there is an intermission between costume changes, please use that time to change your dancer quickly. If there is not an intermission between costume changes, you can change your dancer after they dance.

DROP-OFF:

Parents of dancers in Classroom A and the Music Room should have received a security code. Please save a picture of it until it’s time to pick up your dancer. This helps us make sure only safe grown-ups are picking up dancers 🙂 If you didn’t receive that, you can also just tell us the last 4 digits of the phone number we have on file. 

PICK-UP:

Safety is more important than speed.  PLEASE ONLY SEND ONE ADULT TO PICK UP, NOT YOUR ENTIRE FABULOUS CHEERING SQUAD 🙂

• Women’s Dressing Room dancers (Our oldest dancers) will be dismissed to their dressing room after their dances. You can either pick them up there, or designate a place to meet. Make sure they know your expectation please! 🙂
• All other dressing rooms: Dancers will be dismissed to their dressing room after their dances. Parents will exit through the BACK of the auditorium, and go outside to get to the dressing room to pick up your dancer. PLEASE ONLY SEND ONE ADULT TO PICK UP, NOT YOUR ENTIRE CHEERING SQUAD 🙂 Be ready with that picture of your security code, for Classroom A and Music Room. Or tell us the last four digits of the phone number we have on file.
