Ballet Leveled Classes (Ballet Level 1-4 and Pointe). Does not apply to Ballet/Tap Combo classes. We will assess each dancer for the first 6 weeks to make sure all dancers are placed in the appropriate level. If you’d like to wait until after the 6 week period to purchase a leotard, you may do so.
Beginning Ballet (Ages 6-9): Pink Leotard, Pink tights, Pink ballet shoes and hair secured in a bun.
Beg/Int Ballet: Purple Leotard, Pink tights, Pink ballet shoes and hair secured in a bun.
Int/Adv Ballet: Blue Leotard, Pink tights, Pink ballet shoes and hair secured in a bun.
Adv Ballet and Pointe: Black Leotard, Pink tights, Pink ballet shoes and hair secured in a bun. Pointe shoes are required once approved by instructor.
Jazz/Tap Combo classes:
Anything that is comfortable to move in. This usually means a shirt and dance shorts/leggings. Jazz shoes and tap shoes are required. Specific color for jazz shoes will be required for the summer recital so if you’d like to wait to purchase those until you know what color you will need, you may do so.
Classes for Ages 2-3 and 3-5:
Twinkle Tots: Anything that is comfortable to move in. This usually means a leotard and tights, a dance dress, or a shirt and shorts/leggings. Pink ballet shoes are required.
Ballet/Tap Combo Class: Anything that is comfortable to move in. This usually means a leotard and tights, a dance dress, or a shirt and shorts/leggings. Pink ballet shoes and black tap shoes are required.
Hip Hop Ages 3-5: Anything that is comfortable to move in. For Hip Hop, this usually means a shirt and shorts/leggings. Leotards are great too! Clean soled tennis shoes are required.
Hip Hop classes:
Anything that is comfortable to move in. Usually this means a shirt and shorts/leggings. Clean soled tennis shoes (that are not worn outside).
Contemporary classes:
Anything that is comfortable to move in. This usually means a shirt and dance shorts/leggings. Foot “undies” may be worn, but are not required.
